Accusing Armenians of Surrendering Artsakh: A Statement by a Supporter of Pashinyan is Under Investigation

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating statements made by a supporter of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that incite hatred against Armenians. This was disclosed in a conversation with Pashtinfo by representatives of the Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that an individual named Arsen Avazyan, who according to available information on Facebook resides in Sisian and seemingly expresses his support for the current authorities, has made statements characterized by open hatred and inter-ethnic racism towards Armenians. This behavior is considered a punishable offense under the law.

He has accused Armenians of surrendering Artsakh, claiming that, unlike them who have worked for years, Armenians have merely consumed resources. The Prosecutor's Office confirmed to Pashtinfo that the publication has been recorded and is currently under review as a result of monitoring conducted by the General Prosecutor's Office.
