16 Deaths in One Day: COVID-19 Situation in Armenia

On February 22, as of 11:00 AM, Armenia recorded 753 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 4,416,510. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Health's National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The total number of tests conducted so far amounts to 2,870,459, with 5,588 new tests carried out in the last day. At present, there are 12,408 patients receiving treatment, a decrease of 1,341 compared to the previous day.

According to the latest data, 394,155 individuals have recovered, with 2,075 recoveries in the last 24 hours. In one day, 16 citizens died due to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,354. The previous day also saw 3 deaths recorded, in which the patients had contracted the virus but passed away due to other illnesses. The total number of such fatalities stands at 1,593.
