Prosecutor's Office Should Issue Wanted Notices for Ilham and Mehriban Aliyev: Ghazinyan

In response to Azerbaijan's decision to issue wanted notices for Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office should charge and issue wanted notices for Ilham and Mehriban Aliyev. This was stated by Arthur Ghazinyan, a member of the parliamentary 'Armenia' faction, in a Facebook post.

He specifically noted: 'I assure you that there are all legal grounds for this. This is what the Armenian interest, the dignity of the Armenian people, the stability of Armenian statehood, and Armenia's international reputation require.' Given the current government, this is, of course, excluded, since the interests of Nikol and Aliyev coincide in this matter. The Nikolists hate the two former presidents of Armenia more than Aliyev and fear them more.

It should be noted that judging by the blatant hatred of this government towards Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, it is not excluded that they might arrest the two former presidents who once prostrated to Aliyev and hand them over to Azerbaijan. This would solve two problems for them: ensuring the security of their power and opening a 'time of peace' with their friends and real allies without obstacles.
