Pashinyan and Ararat Mirzoyan Receive Co-Chairs of the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly

On February 21, both Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, received the co-chairs of the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly, Andrius Kubilius and Maka Botchorishvili. The head of the Armenian delegation to the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly, Maria Karapetyan, also participated in the meeting.

The Prime Minister welcomed the holding of the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly's bureau and committee meetings in Yerevan, noting that these are important platforms for the development of cooperation and dialogue. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that the European Union is one of Armenia's key partners, highlighting the existing cooperation in the effective implementation of democratic reforms. He stated that the development agenda of democracy is one of the priorities of the Armenian government and that the steps in this direction will continue to be consistent and ongoing.

Andrius Kubilius, the Vice-President of the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly, emphasized the fact of effective democratic reforms in Armenia and expressed hope that the cooperation between Armenia and the EU would continue to develop and deepen.

Prime Minister Pashinyan presented Armenia's positions on the developments occurring in the region, the unblocking of communication routes, the demarcation and delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and the dialogue between Armenia and Turkey. Nikol Pashinyan referred to the results of the meetings held under the mediation of the President of the European Council and the President of France in Brussels, as well as the agreements reached during the quadrilateral video conference held on February 4.
