Nearly 1 Ton of Vegetables Destroyed in Fire at Agricultural Market

On February 20 at 10:04 PM, the Armavir regional crisis management center received a report of a fire at the "Meimandar" market in the city of Ejmiatsin, which houses a warehouse for fruits and vegetables.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had ignited in the agricultural market located in the administrative territory of Gay village.

The fire was contained by 10:34 PM and fully extinguished by 10:56 PM. Within the market, the suspended plastic ceiling of the storage area (approximately 200 square meters) was burned, and nearly 1 ton of vegetables were destroyed.
