First Refugees from Donbass Arriving in Moscow Region Tomorrow: How Many Will There Be?
The Moscow region will welcome the first 1,500 displaced residents from Donbass tomorrow in Naro-Fominsk, announced Governor Andrey Vorobyov during a weekly meeting with regional leaders and ministers.
“Tomorrow, we will receive the first 1,500 children, along with their mothers and grandmothers; these are largely women, and we will meet them in Naro-Fominsk,” said Vorobyov.
The governor also instructed the leaders of five districts to personally meet the displaced residents in Naro-Fominsk. “You understand very well the unsettled situation of these people. Here, we need our care, attention, and most importantly, conversation and accommodation. Talk to those who have arrived, explain where you are placing the children and women, as well as what conditions we will ensure,” Vorobyov added.
The governor also instructed to find jobs for Donbass residents who wish to work in the Moscow region.
