Road Conditions in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatstan region, the roads from the «Amberd» high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the Kaghsi Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers (in the case of using snow chains).

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Crisis Management Center for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
