Fire at Metallurgical Plant Boiler House

On February 19, at 10:28 AM, the Kotayk regional crisis management center received a report of a fire at the boiler house located on the first floor of the "Alab-Med" metallurgical plant in Charentsavan city, specifically at 1st Highway Number 8.

This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

Two fire and rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had broken out at the boiler house of "Alab-Med" LLC (approximately 50 square meters). The fire was contained by 11:03 AM and extinguished by 11:31 AM. The blaze was caused by oil that had leaked from a 200-liter oil container in the boiler's furnace.
