Collision Involving Former Commander of Artsakh Republic's Armed Forces and Two Mercedes Vehicles
A chain reaction car accident occurred in Yerevan today, on February 19, at approximately 00:10. Vehicles involved included a Kia Sorento driven by 31-year-old Tatevik Abgaryan, a Mercedes driven by 44-year-old Marine Stepanyan, a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by 57-year-old Lyova Mnatsakanyan, who is a resident of the Artsakh Republic, and another Mercedes driven by 41-year-old Sevak Yesayan from Aragatsotn Province.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, Tatevik Abgaryan received first aid on-site from a group of emergency doctors and was subsequently transported to the No. 1 University Hospital.
Shamshyan's sources indicate that Lyova Mnatsakanyan is a former commander of the Artsakh Republic’s Armed Forces, holding the rank of Lieutenant General, and that his vehicle was parked at the time of the accident.
