What Will Biden Discuss During Talks with NATO Leaders
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, will conduct a phone conversation with leaders of several countries on February 18 regarding the situation in Ukraine. This was announced in a statement released by the White House press service.
“In the morning, the president will have a phone call with transatlantic leaders about the buildup of Russian forces at the Ukrainian border and our efforts to respond and engage in diplomatic cooperation,” the White House informed.
The list of participants in the conversation and the exact start time have not been provided in the announcement. On February 17, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's press service reported that Biden will talk about the situation in Ukraine with the leaders of Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, as well as with leaders from the European Union and NATO.
