The self-proclaimed DNR police have confirmed an explosion that occurred in the center of Donetsk.

According to law enforcement, a car exploded in the parking lot near the government house.

We had previously reported that a powerful explosion shook the center of Donetsk.

The head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, had earlier announced that he is organizing the mass evacuation of residents from the country due to the threat of an invasion from Ukraine.

The head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, has also called on residents to evacuate to Russia.
