Do Not Open Emails from ‘HayPost’ with ‘Your Package Cannot Be Delivered...’ Message: Hovhikyan
Journalist Nairi Hovhikyan writes: “Emails are being sent to people in the name of ‘HayPost’ with the message ‘Your package cannot be delivered...’. ‘HayPost’ states that these emails have no connection to them and that unknown criminals are phishing.
To help our compatriots understand what phishing is, I want to point out that the emails sent to people contain active links. By clicking these links, viruses can enter computers or smartphones, stealing personal and banking information.
What should you do? Under no circumstances should you open the emails with ‘Your package cannot be delivered...’ sent in the name of ‘HayPost’, and especially do not click on any links provided in those emails. Be aware that if you open unknown links, there is a 99.9% chance that the perpetrators will steal personal information registered on your computers or smartphones, as well as online banking data stored in applications, thereby stealing the money in your bank accounts. Stay vigilant!”
