Will Moises Hakobyan Attend the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee?
On February 14, the inaugural meeting of the National Assembly's inquiry committee examining the circumstances of the 44-day war took place. The 'Armenia' and 'I Have Honor' factions of the National Assembly had previously announced that they would not participate in the committee's activities.
168.am inquired with General Moises Hakobyan, the former head of the Armed Forces General Staff and former Chief Military Inspector, whether he was prepared to attend the committee and present what he witnessed during the war, to which he replied, 'I do not intend to go to that committee because I have nothing to say.'
When asked if he was concerned about the various opinions that might form around his persona due to not attending, suggesting that he was avoiding it, Moises Hakobyan responded briefly: 'I do not feel bad about that; let different opinions be formed. I do not understand the purpose of this committee's formation in general.'
