Are Russia's Statements About Troop Withdrawals from Ukraine False?

White House representatives have labeled Moscow's announcement about withdrawing troops from the Ukrainian border as "fake." This was reported by news.liga, citing a senior U.S. administration official.

"Yesterday, the Russian government announced that it is withdrawing troops from the border with Ukraine. This statement received significant attention both here in the U.S. and around the world. But now we know that it was a lie," the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

In reality, Russia has increased its presence at the Ukrainian border by "7,000 troops," some of whom have recently arrived in the region, the source added.
