24 Deaths in One Day: The Progress of Coronavirus Disease in Armenia

As of February 17, at 11:00, 1,723 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 411,878. This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia.

The total number of tests conducted has reached 2,846,177, with 5,734 new tests carried out in the last day. Currently, 18,674 patients are receiving treatment, an increase of 29 in one day.

According to the latest data, 383,368 individuals have recovered, including 1,668 recoveries in the last day. In one day, 24 citizens died due to the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 8,253.

On the previous day, 2 deaths were also recorded where the patients had contracted the coronavirus, but the cause of death was attributed to other diseases. The total number of such deaths stands at 1,583.
