Tigran's Story is Astonishing: Zohrabyan
This troubled young man is Tigran Arshakyan. Tigran would have turned 21 this December. He was a conscript soldier from the village of Vardenik. This was reported by Naïra Zohrabyan, a member of the National Assembly of the 7th convocation.
“Tigran's story is astonishing. During the 44-day war, Tigran was moved to Jabrayil. After several days of fierce fighting, on October 10, Tigran was wounded in the leg. Even while injured, he drove a ‘UAZ’ 130 km to bring his friends to the hospital and returned to the front lines again. On the same day, Tigran received a fatal shrapnel wound. His friends took him to the hospital in Goris, and he was later transferred to Yerevan. Tigran was in a coma for 4 days and never regained consciousness before passing away. When his mother went to visit Tigran, he, while in a coma, heard his mother’s voice and cried. Tears streamed from Tigran’s eyes.”
