Issues Caused by Earthquake Being Investigated in Vanadzor
Following the strong earthquake recorded on February 13 in several communities of Armenia, including the Vanadzor community, around 40 reports have been received from residents, particularly regarding increased cracks in emergency buildings and various other issues.

Upon the instruction of the Lori Governor, Levon Khakhinyan, head of the architectural department of the regional urban development department, Suren Abovyan, head of the architecture and urban development department of the Vanadzor community, Razmik Atabekyan, expert from the seismic service of Lori province, and other responsible officials conducted a tour today, visiting several emergency buildings in the Bazum neighborhood of Vanadzor based on the received reports. They examined the problems arising from the earthquake and spoke with residents.
The working group will continue its tours in the coming days, documenting all the issues. After summarizing the findings, they will be presented to the relevant authorities. Similar studies are also planned to be conducted in other communities of the region based on the reports received.
