Lavrov and Mirzoyan Held Telephone Conversation: Details of Their Discussion Revealed

On February 15, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia A. S. Mirzoyan.

The two officials discussed bilateral and regional agenda issues, including the implementation of the trilateral agreements made between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, January 11, and November 26, 2020 and 2021, respectively. They also addressed cooperation within the CSTO, considering Armenia's presidency.

A detailed exchange of views occurred regarding ongoing negotiations concerning security guarantees. The importance of consistently adhering to the principles of equal and indivisible security among Euro-Atlantic countries was emphasized.
