Pfizer Vaccine Arrives in Armenia
A batch of 100,620 doses of the Pfizer vaccine has been imported into Armenia. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
According to the announcement, based on the contract signed between the Ministry of Health and the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer, the mRNA-based Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19 is now available in Armenia.
After distribution, the Pfizer vaccine, like other vaccines available in the country, will be accessible at primary healthcare facilities and vaccination mobile points.
It is noteworthy that in Armenia, COVID-19 vaccinations are being conducted with the following vaccines: Gam-Covid-Vac (Sputnik V), CoronaVac (for the second dose only), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Sinopharm, and Moderna (Spikevax).
