OSCE Mission Representatives Leave Ukraine: DW

Europe's Organization for Security and Co-operation (OSCE) special monitoring mission is leaving Donetsk. According to Deutsche Welle, the reason is the threat of an attack on Ukraine.

"Recent decisions by individual participating states of the OSCE have led to the conclusion that their citizens deployed to the special monitoring mission must leave Ukraine in the coming days," the OSCE website reports according to DW.

The specific countries from which the citizens have departed are not mentioned. "The mission will continue to carry out the mandate established by the OSCE with observers stationed in ten cities across Ukraine," the statement adds.

As previously reported, the U.S. has urged all its citizens to leave Ukraine, including those affiliated with the special monitoring mission, while the United Kingdom has only evacuated observers from areas controlled by separatists.
