Long Table Again: Discussing Putin-Lavrov Meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Footage of the working meeting between the President of the Russian Federation and the Foreign Minister was broadcast by Russia 24.

Vladimir Putin called NATO's eastward expansion "endless and very dangerous." Sergey Lavrov noted that the U.S. response to Russia's key proposals regarding security guarantees had been negative. "The first part of the U.S. response on security guarantees does not satisfy Russia; the second is more constructive," Lavrov said.
