Zelensky Discusses Sanctions with Charles Michel
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has discussed joint responses to security challenges and sanctions with European Council President Charles Michel. This was reported by the Ukrainian leader on Twitter.
"We discussed the recent international negotiations, the activation of the peace process within the framework of the Normandy format (Normandy Four). We remain committed to the diplomatic resolution of the conflict. Thank you for the macro-financial support," Zelensky wrote.
He also emphasized the importance of EU member states' embassies continuing to operate in Ukraine. "Exchanged thoughts with Charles Michel regarding the meeting of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four in Berlin, future diplomatic efforts, and sanctions. Today, our biggest enemy is panic. A crucial signal of support from the EU is that the embassies of European countries continue to work in Ukraine," Zelensky noted on Instagram.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday, February 12, Zelensky had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
