Russian State Border Violated by Submarine; Note Submitted to US Military Attaché

The Russian Ministry of Defense has submitted a note to the US military attaché regarding the violation of Russian state borders by an American submarine.

"On February 12, a note was handed over to the representative of the military attaché at the US Embassy in Moscow concerning the breach of the Russian Federation's state border by a submarine of the US Navy," the statement reads.

Additionally, a representative of the US Department of Defense was informed that the actions of the American submarine are considered a gross violation of international law norms. The Russian agency added that the provocative actions of the US Navy ship pose a threat to Russia's national security.
