Germany's President Re-elected for Second Term
The Federal Assembly in Germany has re-elected the country's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during a session. The session is being broadcasted by German television channels.
The assembly consists of 1,472 delegates, and Steinmeier secured 1,045 votes. His candidacy was initially supported by nearly all major parties.
