What Does Azerbaijan Aim to Achieve? Tigran Abrahamyan's Commentary

Azerbaijan’s main infrastructures being constructed towards Shushi run over the upper segments of our two villages, situated in the observation area of the Defense Army, and Azerbaijan aims to achieve the depopulation of our localities, consequently leading to the withdrawal of Defense Army positions.

The Azerbaijani attacks are systematic in nature, which can be neutralized or minimized with the intervention of Russia. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly and the ‘I Have Honor’ faction, on his Facebook page.

“According to the human rights defender of Artsakh, on February 11 at around 05:50, a barrage of fire was directed at residential houses near the communities of Karmir Shuka and Taghavard from Azerbaijani positions. The Azerbaijani side has directly targeted the homes of peaceful residents, resulting in damage to residential structures, such as walls and roofs. It should be noted that Azerbaijan regularly carries out aggressive actions in various directions along the contact line; however, in the villages of Karmir Shuka and Taghavard, these actions are more pronounced because the Armenian villages are located near a vital junction leading to Shushi.
