Shoigu Demands Explanation from UK Ministry of Defence

As previously reported, negotiations have taken place in Moscow between the Ministers of Defence of the United Kingdom and Russia.

During a meeting with UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace in Moscow, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu demanded an explanation regarding the presence of British special forces in Ukraine.

Shoigu suggested that Western countries should contribute to easing tensions and halt arms shipments to Ukraine. “I would also like to understand why the UK has sent its special forces to Ukraine, and how long they intend to remain there,” Shoigu stated.
