Official Statistics on Pregnant Women and Children Affected by Coronavirus

As of now, 5,574 pregnant women and 19,454 children have been infected with the coronavirus. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health in response to a written inquiry from MediaHub.am.

The ministry also reported that 14 pregnant women and new mothers have died from the virus so far; 5 of these deaths occurred in 2020, while 9 were recorded in 2021. The average age of those who died from the coronavirus is 72 years.
