Budget Performance During Marutyan's Tenure: Which Administrative Districts Underperformed
The newspaper "Zhoghavorud" reports that the actual revenues of the city of Yerevan's budget for 2021 amounted to 81 billion, 729 million 646 thousand drams, compared to a planned 85 billion 801 million 844 thousand drams, resulting in a performance of 95.3%.
According to the budget performance report obtained by "Zhoghavorud," expenditures based on Yerevan's 2021 budget amounted to 80 billion 353 million 278 thousand drams, accounting for 73.3% of the revised program.
Among Yerevan's administrative districts, the lowest performance was recorded by the Davidashen administrative district with 81%, while the highest was achieved by the Arabkir administrative district at 90.05%.
Now, let’s take a look at specific sectors. For instance, a total of 915 million drams in bonuses were distributed to employees of the Yerevan municipality and administrative districts, against a planned 991 million drams, resulting in a performance of 92.3%, which is an increase of 153 million drams from the actual performance figures of 2020.
The "Elevator Renovation" program was implemented at 84%, the performance for the "Reconstruction of Highways and Streets" program was at 69.3%, the renovation of curbs was at 84%, and the performance for the renovation of administrative buildings was at 63.4%.
It should be noted that this essentially reflects the results of the work carried out under the leadership of Hayk Marutyan.
