Armen Grigoryan and Stanislav Zas Hold Telephone Conversation: Key Topics Discussed
The Secretary of the Security Council had a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the CSTO, Stanislav Zas. During the call, the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border was discussed.
Grigoryan emphasized that there has been a border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan since the Soviet era. He also highlighted that, according to the 1991 agreement on the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the parties recognized this border, ratified the agreement in their parliaments, and made it an integral part of the legislation of both countries.
During the conversation, the parties also addressed issues related to Armenia's presidency in the CSTO.
