Travel Exclusively on Winter Tires: Black Ice and Closed Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

In the Syunik Province, there are instances of black ice on the roads.

As for Larsi, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for trucks. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
