Snow in Martuni, Vardenis, and Gavar; Fog in Ararat Province

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the high-altitude meteorological station "Amberd" in Ararat Province to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer trucks and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

On the roads of Syunik Province, there are patches of black ice.

Snow is falling in the areas of Saravan-"Zanger," in Kotayk Province (except for the city of Yeghvard), Jermuk in Vayots Dzor Province, Dilijan in Tavush Province, and in the cities of Martuni, Vardenis, and Gavar in Gegharkunik Province, as well as in the Aragatsotn Province regions of Aragats and Talin.

Fog is present in the Aragatsotn Province.

Regarding the Lars area, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all vehicles. Drivers are advised to use only winter tires.
