Imedi TV Apologizes for Airing Azerbaijani Propaganda

On February 9, during the 20:00 news program "Chronicle" of the Georgian Imedi TV, an image used in one of the segments contained problematic and unacceptable inscriptions.

In response to this issue, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia immediately contacted the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to seek clarification regarding the matter.

On February 10, Imedi TV officially apologized for the incident. Below is the text published on the official website of the television company and its Armenian translation.

Due to a technical error, the information service of Imedi TV expresses its apologies. In the 20:00 broadcast of "Chronicle," a mistake was made specifically regarding the presentation of the segment titled "Against Georgian Yogurt "Matsuni," where the inscription on the photo used did not reflect the original.

Imedi TV's information service clarifies that it was a technical error, expresses regret, and apologizes for the mistake made. This part of the segment will be removed from all social platforms of the holding.
