Erdogan's Coronavirus Test Result Negative

The coronavirus test result of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been negative. This was reported by Anadolu, citing his doctor.

He noted that Erdogan has been in isolation since Saturday after testing positive for the coronavirus.

On that day, Erdogan stated that the test conducted for the "Omicron" variant of the virus had returned positive. "The results of the PCR tests we conducted over the last two days are negative," said Erdogan's doctor, Serkan Topaloğlu.

"I believe the president will return to his normal routine very soon, possibly even tomorrow," he added.
