Emergency Situation in Syunik Region: Over 30 Vehicles Stranded Due to Road Maintenance Issues

Today, February 10, an emergency situation has arisen in the Syunik region. Due to improper snow clearing and black ice on the road to the village of Dzhghuk, more than 30 vehicles have been unable to navigate the route.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the icy road conditions, several vehicles have collided, including a Volvo truck, whose trailer has hung over the edge of a ravine. Fortunately, there are no injuries reported.

After several hours, the road maintenance workers finally arrived and began treating the icy road with salt and sand.
