Shooting in Yerevan: Friend of Notorious Criminal Artyom Kanevskiy Transferred to Hospital from Kilikia
On February 9, a shooting occurred in Yerevan. At around 16:30, the Armenia Medical Center reported to the Malatia police station that a citizen with a "gunshot wound to the left shin" had been transferred to their facility.
According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators have identified the victim as 47-year-old Vardan Gevorgyan, a resident of Yerevan, who is currently unable to provide an explanation about the incident due to his condition.
While doctors were providing assistance to the injured individual, officers from the Yerevan police department, led by Chief Sevan Kocharyan, Deputy Chief of Operational Line Arthur Zakaryan, Chief of Criminal Investigation Hovhannes Aristakesyan, and Malatia Police Chief A. Meloyan, found that V. Gevorgyan was transferred to the hospital from the address number 23 on Adana Street in the Kilikia neighborhood.
At the scene, police and investigators discovered one cartridge from a gas pistol. According to G. Shamshyan, the victim is the brother of Arman Gevorgyan, known by the nickname “Kodo,” who is notable in the Kilikia area for his positive reputation and support for socially disadvantaged individuals. The victim is also known in the criminal world as a friend of Artyom Harutyunov (Artyom Kanevskiy), who recently received the title of "Ambassador of Goodwill."
