Demand for Nazarbayev's Daughter's Resignation in Kazakhstan

Aidos Sarim, a member of Kazakhstan's Majilis, has called for the resignation of Dariga Nazarbayeva, the daughter of former president Nursultan Nazarbayev, according to KazTAG.

"Given the current situation, as a person and a citizen, she should resign. This situation is connected to her name, and it would be appropriate," Sarim stated.

Dariga Nazarbayeva has not attended parliament since the protests in January. Officially, it is reported that she has contracted COVID-19.
