Additional Evidence to be Gathered on Armed Azerbaijani Incursions: Ombudsman

“Additional evidence will be collected regarding the incursions of armed Azerbaijani servicemen, concerning the issues faced by people due to their unlawful actions (ranging from water accessibility to the loss of hayfields and pastures),” Tatoyan wrote.

The selection of villages is based on alerts received by the Ombudsman's office in Gegharkunik. It is noteworthy that, to ensure the safety of residents, the Ombudsman has proposed the establishment of a demilitarized security zone around the borders of Armenia until the completion of delimitation and demarcation with Azerbaijan,” Tatoyan stated.
