Protests in Turkey Against Increase in Electricity and Household Gas Prices
Hundreds of citizens in Turkey took to the streets today to protest against the rise in electricity and household gas prices. According to ТАСС, this was reported by a Turkish opposition newspaper.
The rally was organized by the main opposition Republican People's Party. Actions were held in several provinces, as well as in Istanbul and Ankara.
As reported by Ahval, healthcare workers across Turkey declared a one-day strike yesterday, demanding higher wages.
