It Is Known When Vladimir Putin Will Visit Turkey
Turkey expects that Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the republic will take place in mid-February. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a diplomatic source.
“The date will be announced in the coming days; it could be February 14,” said the source.
On February 3, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that he is ready to organize talks between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the country. Erdoğan emphasized that the republic is prepared to facilitate the resolution of the crisis between the two friendly countries.
One day later, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the meeting between Putin and Zelensky has not yet been practically discussed in Turkey. At the same time, according to him, “no one is rejecting such an opportunity.”
