I Held 4 Secret Meetings with Lukashenko in London, Saakashvili Says
The Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's refusal to recognize the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia is the merit of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. As reported by Eadaily.com, Saakashvili himself made this statement today, February 9, during hearings on the misappropriation of state funds at the Tbilisi City Court.
“I have had four secret meetings with Lukashenko in London. It was secret diplomacy. The fact that South Ossetia and Abkhazia have not yet been recognized by Lukashenko is the result of my visits to London,” he stated.
