Hrachya Sargsyan Pretends That Everything is Wonderful: 'Hraparak'

According to the 'Hraparak' newspaper, we wrote on February 2 that new deputy mayors would be appointed in Yerevan: Gevorg Simonyan, Suren Grigoryan, and Stepan Machyan. All three were chosen by Tigran Avinyan, who is soon to be appointed as the first deputy mayor, essentially holding the powers of the de facto mayor.

Yesterday, while presenting the newly appointed deputy mayors, the still-serving mayor Hrachya Sargsyan pretended that everything is wonderful, stating that 'a very good, substantive team is being formed.'

It is known that Gevorg Simonyan will coordinate the areas of health and sports, Suren Grigoryan will unexpectedly oversee trade and advertising instead of legal affairs, and Stepan Machyan will manage urban planning.
