The Court of Appeals rejected the defense's request to change the preventive measure for Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan. "What happened was what we expected. None of us had hopes that the judge would have the courage to deliver justice," said Arushanyan's lawyer, Armen Melkonyan, in a conversation with reporters.

According to him, they are still not familiar with the grounds for the rejection. The lawyer stated that they will discuss with the defense team whether to appeal the court's decision.
