Tragic Incident in Ararat Province: Half-Burnt Body of a Man Found at 'Belovo' Napkin Factory
The investigation department of the Artashat police station is preparing materials regarding the death of a man that occurred on February 7 in Ararat Province.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on that morning, a call was received by the Artashat police from a resident of Ararat Province, Armen G., who reported that there was a body at the guardhouse of the 'Belovo' napkin factory in the village of Verin Artashat.
The police discovered the body of Levon Sh., a 67-year-old resident of Ararat Province, lying face down on the electric heater, with his body being half burnt. According to the preliminary medical examination report, no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination.
At the investigator's discretion, several forensic examinations have been ordered, including a forensic medical examination of the body. Further details will follow on the website.
