Those Remaining Are Also 'Brave': A Returned Soldier's Account from Captivity

“Everything is normal, those who remain are all ‘brave’, waiting every day to return home with hope and faith. The boys have been steadfast and remain so to this day; nothing can break them. They have strong hope and faith, and everyone is waiting for their return home,” said Vagharsak Maloyan, a returned soldier, after exiting from the Investigative Committee.

He mentioned that he is unaware of how many individuals are still in captivity. In response to a question about whether they have health issues, Maloyan said that he personally feels well, but he does not know what the future holds.

He also revealed that he had been a reserve soldier and fought in Jrarakan, and during his second visit to that area, he found himself in the hands of the enemy.
