Necessary Conditions for Putin and Zelensky Meeting

If a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine can help resolve issues in southeastern Ukraine, then Putin is ready for negotiations with Zelensky. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.

“As for the meeting with Zelensky, no one is actually refusing it. If it helps to unravel the Gordian knot that has become the situation in the southeast of the country, then Putin is ready to meet,” said Peskov.

In January, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey is ready to organize a meeting between Zelensky and Putin.
