Armenian Officer Released After Captivity and Arrest

On December 4, Major Narek Yerimyans, who was repatriated from Azerbaijani captivity and subsequently arrested, has been released by a court decision after posting a bail of 1 million drams. This information was provided to Armenia Today by lawyer Karmen Poghosyan.

It is noteworthy that on December 4, ten servicemen held captive were transported to Armenia with the mediation of the Russian side. They had been captured on November 16 as a result of Azerbaijani aggression on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
