Tragic Car Accident in Tavush Region: Head-on Collision Between a VAZ 2101 and a Georgian-Plated Ford Transit Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Today, February 7, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 19:50, on the Zorakan-Haghpat road in the administrative area of Zorakan village, a head-on collision took place between a VAZ 2101 and a Ford Transit vehicle.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one person died at the scene, while another individual was taken to the Novayberyan Medical Center with injuries.

The police and investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured. A photojournalist reports that the Ford Transit has Georgian license plates.
