The Number of COVID Infections Worldwide Exceeds 394 Million, Over 5 Million Dead
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide has surpassed 394 million, with deaths totaling 5.73 million, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Monday.
According to TASS, the number of infected individuals rose by 2,235,694 in just one day, while deaths increased by 10,826.
It is reported that the WHO statistics take into account only the officially confirmed data provided by governments regarding infections and fatalities.
On January 25, the number of infected individuals was recorded at 350 million, on January 8 at 300 million, on November 9 at 250 million, and on August 5 at 200 million.
