Russian Troops' Invasion of Ukraine Could Happen at Any Moment: Sullivan

The U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated in an interview with ABC News that the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops could occur at any moment.

“The window is open. Russia could launch military operations against Ukraine any day now,” said the official. According to Sullivan, this could happen within the next two weeks, or alternatively, Russia may prefer a diplomatic route instead.

Recently, American officials announced that Russia has amassed 70 percent of the forces necessary for an invasion. Simultaneously, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba urged on his Twitter page not to believe in “apocalyptic” predictions.

Amid the tensions between Russia and the West, French President Emmanuel Macron is set to hold negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin today in Moscow.
