NATO Considers Long-Term Deployment of Additional Forces in Eastern Europe
NATO is considering the possibility of increasing its military presence in Eastern Europe on a long-term basis. This announcement was made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during a press conference alongside Polish President Andrzej Duda, as reported by Kp.ru.
“We are prepared to rapidly deploy NATO's response forces if necessary and are considering the possibility of adjusting our presence in the eastern flank of the alliance for a longer period,” said the head of the military-political alliance.
It should be noted that last week, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová called for an increase in NATO's military presence in Eastern Europe.
